Online or Face to Face?
Face to face tuition is conducted at my house which has a dedicated classroom. I provide an exercise book and have a huge range of resources to hand that can be adapted for each student. Face to face is great for students who really need that personal touch of someone sitting with them and encouraging them. We do have a very friendly elderly cat who sometimes likes to say hello - please let me know if you would rather she be kept out of the way.
I use an online whiteboard, called Bitpaper, and Zoom, which combine to make an excellent online learning environment. Both the student and myself can write on the whiteboard simultaneously (it is useful to have a writing pad or stylus for this), and can communicate via Zoom. Perfect for students who live further away, or who prefer to work in the comfort of their own home.
